It was sad. I was ashamed. It's so easy to vote in Canada, and the process is efficient! I think it took all of four minutes out of my day. Okay, granted, the polling station happened to be next door, but still!

ReplyDeletevoting was a breeze this morning. i feel so bad for everyone who has to wait in line (and in the rain). and even worse for anyone who is blocked from voting for whatever technicality.
I know Anabela! I know! It is so easy. Mine was only 9 blocks away, still convenient. My city has voted conservative for forty years straight. I am determined to change that someday... or move. That is why voting counts, you can't complain if you didn't vote.
ReplyDeleteErica: I'm so glad to hear that you had an easy time of it. I was obsessively refreshing msnbc until I just gave up and went to a pub with my friends. Now it is bedtime and I can go to sleep happy!
